Dividend increase by Realty Income
Last week Realty Income (O) announced a 0.2% increase in its monthly dividend for common stockholders. They have raised their dividend from $0.22 to $0.2205. It was the 98thconsecutive dividend increase since it went public. The dividend pay date is October 15, 2018 to shareholders of record on October 1, 2018 (ex dividend September 28, 2018).
Chief Executive Officer – John P. Case said: “We are pleased that our Board of Directors has once again determined that we are able to increase the amount of the monthly dividend we pay to our shareholders,” said John P. Case, Chief Executive Officer of Realty Income. “With the payment of the October dividend, we will have made 579 consecutive monthly dividend payments and paid over $5.7 billion in dividends throughout our 49-year operating history.“
Vrijheid Fonds
The new dividend amount represents an annualized dividend amount of $2.646 per share, up from $2.64. The dividend yield on current price is 4.6%.
My Vrijheid Fonds consist of 120 shares of Realty Income, my annual dividends will increase by €0.52 ($0.61). For 2018 my dividends will increase by €0.13 ($0.15) after taxes.
My projected annual total amount from my shares of O will be €221 ($258) after taxes.
