Welcome to my August 2018 edition of the side hustle report.
To fuel my Vrijheid Fonds, I donate a part of my paycheck every month. However to reach financial independence earlier I do some side hustles to make some extra income. And every month I write an income report of all my side hustles. I do this to track my income and to motivate myself (and hopefully also others) to make more money to invest.
For these reports it is important to understand that not all side hustles pay out immediately, therefore the numbers I present here are the accumulated revenues that hasn’t been paid out yet, but are in my various accounts. When I actually get paid, it is explicitly stated.
These side hustle income reports, in my opinion, provide a great look at how anyone can earn extra money outside of their day job.
With that said, let’s take a look how I did in August 2018. This month I didn’t have much time to spend on my side hustles, I went on a well deserved holiday with my family.
As my frequent readers know, at this moment I have five side-hustles going on to help me generate cash for my Vrijheid Fonds. In this post I will report my accumulated revenues for all five side-hustles.
Google AdSense
As I wrote in my month review of August, I spend some quality time with my family in August. We had 3 incredible weeks of holiday. And that’s why I didn’t post very often. And that is why my income from Google AdSense has declined in relation to July.
In August I have accumulated € 6.64 of extra income with the ads from Google AdSense. I still love every € I make with my website Polliesdividend.
The payout threshold is € 70, and with this month I’ve past the 40 barrier! And if it continues like this, I’m confident that I will reach this threshold before the end of this year. Man that would be great, two payments in one year!
I’m on the right track and I hope I can keep up these numbers and start generating more money every month. I will try to post new content every two to three days on my website and with the help of you as a visitor, I hopefully will reach the next pay out threshold before this year ends. So come back, read my post, enjoy my ads and send me some love .

Bol.com & Amazon.com
In August I had no revenues from Amazon.com. This means that my Amazon account is still standing at $0.08.
If we take a look at Bol.com, that is a complete different story. I can happily say, that my account has grown by €2.21 and my total now stands on € 8.02. The payout threshold is € 10, so I’m well on my way. But with the help of you my readers, I’m confident that I will reach this milestone in 2018. Thanks for the person who bought something on Bol.com through my website!
Euroclix
Euroclix is the longest running savings program in The Netherlands. With this program you can earn money by reading emails, participating in surveys, buying stuff on the Internet and using their Credit Card. For my Dutch readers I wrote a post about Euroclix. If you haven’t read it already, take a look at: A post for my Dutch Readers: Waarom gebruik ik Euroclix als “bijbaantje”?
Yeah, I know that Euroclix won’t to earn me a full income. I just see it as some nice extra cash I can earn with a little bit of effort. I estimate that I can earn around 70 euros a year.
If you’re Dutch and also want to earn a little bit of extra cash, sign up with Euroclix, it is free. You will receive a registration bonus of 2 euros immediately upon registration. Have fun and success with earning some extra cash!
Euroclix gives you points (clix) for every survey you fill in; furthermore you earn clix by ordering stuff (books, electronics, hotel bookings, etc.) on the Internet and when you use their Credit Card.
In the table below I will show the number of clix I earned in a month.
Month | Revenue |
January | 801 |
February | 765 |
March | 1,175 |
April | 1,649 |
May | -3,847 |
June | 1,634 |
July | 510 |
August | 714 |
September | |
October | |
November | |
December | |
Clix from 2017 | 1,328 |
2018 | 4,671 clix |
When I reach the threshold of 5.000 clix, I will order Euroclix to pay out and that moment I will receive € 70. So I’m almost there. I’m very excited.
If you also want to earn some extra cash, just try Euroclix and sign in.
Member’s board
There wasn’t a member’s board meeting in August. So no extra fuel for myVrijheid Fonds here.

it takes sweat, determination and hard work
