Dividend increase Realty Income (O) – January 2019
This week Realty Income (O) announced a 2.04% increase in its monthly dividend for common stockholders.
The dividend is raised from $0.221 to $0.2255. It was the 100th consecutive dividend increase since it went public. The dividend pay date is February 15, 2019 to shareholders of record on February 1, 2019 (ex dividend January 31, 2019).
Chief Executive Officer – John P. Case said:“The continued strength of our operating performance has allowed us to increase the dividend for the 100th time since our company’s public listing in 1994. We continue to maintain a conservative payout ratio and remain committed to our company’s mission of paying dependable monthly dividends that increase over time. With the payment of the February dividend, shareholders will realize a 3% increase in the amount of the dividend as compared to the same month in 2018.”

The new dividend amount represents an annualized dividend amount of $2.706 per share, up from $2.652. The dividend yield on current price is 4.18%.
My Vrijheid Fonds consist of 120 shares of Realty Income, my annual dividends will increase by €4.44 ($5.05).
My projected annual total amount from my shares of O will be €242 after taxes.
