Dividend increase Realty Income – April 2018
This week Realty Income (O) announced a 0.2% increase in its monthly dividend for common stockholders.
The dividend is raised from $0.219 to $0.2195. This is the 96th consecutive dividend increase since it went public. The dividend pay date is April 13, 2018 to shareholders of record on April 2, 2018 (ex dividend March 30, 2018).
Chief Executive Officer – John P. Case said: “We are pleased that our Board of Directors has once again determined that we are able to increase the amount of the monthly dividend we pay to our shareholders. With the payment of the April dividend, we will have made 573 consecutive monthly dividend payments and paid over $5.3 billion in dividends throughout our 49-year operating history.”

The new dividend amount represents an annualized dividend amount of $2.63 per share, up from $2.628. The dividend yield on current price is 5.12%.
My Vrijheid Fonds consist of 120 shares of Realty Income, my annual dividends will increase by €0.37.
My projected annual total amount from my shares of O will be €213 after taxes.
