June 2020 Dividend Income from the Dutch Dividend bloggers.
My summer holiday is in its second week already. Time is flying when you’re having fun. This year our holiday is a little bit different than normal. This because of the COVID-19 pandemic. No traveling aboard for us this year. We are staying here in The Netherlands and enjoying our own beautiful country. We have a lot of great and wonderful places here in The Netherlands. Once again it becomes clear in what beautiful country we live.
June 2020
With this series I hope to inspire more people to start making passive income. By starting to make passive income, you will take control of your live. Passive income gives you the freedom of time! I think that time is our greatest asset. In fact, time is far more valuable than money in my opinion.
When you let your money work for you (instead of you working for money) you will have the flexibility that comes along with not having to struggle to make ends meet at the end of the month. As long as you can ensure that your passive income outpaces your monthly expenses, you’re free to spend your time as you choose.
Co-production
Since the beginning of this year this series is a co-production together with De Kleine Kapitalist (DKK). He writes the Dutch version and, you guested it, I the English version. DKK is very handy with IT-stuff and with his web crawler he automatically collects all the data. This saves an enormous amount of time now that this process has been automated.
Thanks for all the positive feedback we got on this series! I really appreciate it! And if I look at my twitter feed (@twitter.com/Polliesdividend) I see a lot of people enjoy this Series. Keep sending me some love. And if you want to be included in this Series just sent an email to De Kleine Kapitalist (DKK) or Pollie@polliesdividend.com.
Passive income from the Dutch Dividend bloggers
Here is my June episode of the dividend Income from the Dutch Dividend Series. I’ve only included the bloggers that reported their dividend income on their website.
Stashing Dutchman – Unfortunately Stashing Dutchman hasn’t reported his income for June yet.
Financially in 10 years – € 153.26 – No less than 17 companies have paid Mr. Robot. And this month is his highest dividend income ever and that he crossed the €150 mark! Way to go! And with this record breaking dividend Mr. Robot has a great YoY increase of 87.02%!
Financemonkey – Saska only receives here dividend at the end of every quarter. But she received some unpleasant news on the dividend of the ETF she owns. This ETF (VWRL) cuts the dividend by 32%. Luckily, she doesn’t has to live from the dividend yet. At the time of writing Saska hasn’t published her passive income yet.
Veelvoorminder – €35.91 – He shows a nice stable monthly dividend income. And it is above the €30-mark again. If we look at last year, we see a very small increase of his dividend income (YoY increase of 1%). His other passive income streams are showing a nice monthly increase. Your website is always inspiring. Keep up the good work!
I want Dividend – € 391.00 – June is a great month for Erik. Erik had to sell a part of his portfolio to finance his new house he has bought with his girlfriend. As a result, the estimated yearly dividend income will decrease also. In the June numbers this isn’t visible yet.
Groeigeld – €269.00 – Groeigeld has to take a couple of dividend decreases. And this is also visible in his monthly dividend income. A month with a nice amount of dividend, but still an expected decrease compared to last year. Just keep pumping in fresh capital and stick to your plan!
De Kleine Kapitalist – € 48.43 – A nice stable passive income for DKK in June. He has a great YoY increase of 16.81%. Way to go! Can’t wait to see his yearly figures.
Dividendportfolio.nl – € 132.00 – In total 11 companies have paid dividend. The big disappointment, for many of us Dutch Dividend Bloggers, is of course Shell with their dividend reduction. DP has an impressive YoY increase of 282.5%. Congrats on these great results.
MrThinkingbig – € 17.97 – He has received € 9.82 in dividend from his individual stocks and € 8.15 from his index trackers. MrThinkingbig has an impressive YoY increase of more than 88%. Congrats.
De Kleine Dividend Belegger – €21.48 – 7 companies have paid dividend to DKDB! As a new investor, he finds it difficult to determine what to do. Therefore, he has decided that he will continue to do his monthly deposits as originally planned, and if he really sees a bargain or if there is another big crash he will deposit some extra money. Very important and sensible words of DKDB. Just stick to your plan!
Polliesdividend – € 596.19 – This is more than last year’s June. However, due to the request of the European Central Bank, NN Group and my Rabobank Certificates didn’t pay me any dividend this month. This was compensated by the dividend that I have received from my mutual funds. They normally pay in May, but this year the payment date fell in June. If we take all this into account, I had a YoY decrease of a little bit more than 6%.
Both NN Group and Rabobank wrote in their statement that they suspended the payments. So let’s hope they will catch up their payments later this year. For more information about my passive income, just read my June report.
Finally
We all had a great month in June. Of course, we all were affected by some dividend decreases. The dividend slash of Royal Dutch Shell came in hard for most of us.
Despites these decreases, we all show good numbers. Congratulations to everyone who is included above! You all work hard to deliver strong results and some impressive dividend growth rates.
We as Dutch Dividend Bloggers made an astonishing € 1,638.54 in dividend!
This is money that is working for us from now on. That is the good news. And most of us are sticking to our plan and are pumping more capital in our portfolio. Let’s hope we see some great buying opportunities in the next few weeks.
If the Stashing Dutchman produces some nice figures (equal or better than last year), June was a great month. Just a little bit shy of a new record. Maybe the last month in Q3 will smash our record.
If you’re not included in the list above, just leave a comment below, and I will include you in the next post.
Cheers,
Pollie
