A new buy for my Vrijheid Fonds. I’ve averaged down on an other Dividend Aristocrat of my Vrijheid Fonds.
The markets are still volatile. And I couldn’t resist buying some extra shares. Last week I did my analysis of BEN. If you haven’t read my analysis, please take a look at this post about Franklin Resources (BEN) Stock Analysis Pollie Style – 2019.
Purchase
On October 2nd I bought 51 additional shares of BEN at $27.42 per share (incl. fees).
With this buy I added a little bit more than €41 (after taxes) of projected dividend to my Vrijheid Fonds. Unfortunately, I was a little bit too late for the ex-dividend date of Q4. So no extra dividend in 2019 for me with this buy. Now I own 157 shares of BEN and this position produces € 127 ($140) after taxes in dividend income annually.
Again, a small step in my journey and one-step closer to my goal. Has anyone else invested in this company recently? I appreciate any feedback!
