My monthly review of my Vrijheid Fonds for the month of September 2019
Yesterday was spreadsheet day and it was a very happy day. My Vrijheid Fonds has never been this high. But first thing first, now it is time to write my month review.
A post about my favorite topic, dividends. Let see how much passive income I have received in September. And what kind a month it was for my Vrijheid Fonds.
I had two dividend increases for my Vrijheid Fonds. Target raised its dividend with 3.1% and BHP Billiton raised its dividend with 23.80%
Dividend
Lets take a look at the numbers and tell you the status of my Vrijheid Fonds and report my passive income for this month. In total I received € 567.84 ($ 618.29) in passive income.
If we take a closer look, the dividend was coming from:
Royal Dutch Shell A (RDS) € 141.31
Unilever (UN) € 87.56
NN Group NV (NN) €12.93
3M (MMM) € 28.10
Aflac (AFL) € 10.12
Archer-Daniels-Midland (ADM) € 11.20
Billiton PLC – ADR (BBL) € 42.98
Chevron (CVX) € 33.33
Consolidated Edison (ED) € 13.87
Johnson&Johnson (JNJ) € 33.37
McDonalds (MCD) € 19.02
Microsoft (MSFT) €11.94
Realty Income (O) € 21.22
Southern Company (SO) € 24.20
Target (TGT) € 36.08
Wal-Mart (WMT) € 18.62
Rabobank Certificate € 22.34
YoY Increase
That makes a total of € 567.84, this is a 17.94% increase from last years September. I proud of this increase. This means that my snowball is getting momentum. Okay, the total also this positive because of the higher dollar (6.6%) since last year September. But also thanks to the dividend increases and my fresh capital I keep feeding my Vrijheid Fonds.
For an update of my Dividend Income click the hyperlink. In 2019 I received a total in passive income of € 3,277.35
Vrijheid Fonds
If we take a look at my Vrijheid Fonds (Freedom Fund), we can see that the value is higher than last month. My total portfolio value at the end of September is €132,186, which is an increase of 4.85% over last month (€ 126,067). I again donated € 600 of fresh capital to my Vrijheid Fonds and € 236 to my “Safe-haven-sleep-well” part of my Vrijheid Fonds.
In September I made one new buy. I’ve averaged down on one of my dividend aristocrats. I again bought 4 shares of 3M. For more information, read my blog post Recent Buy 3M – September 2019.
And as I already wrote in the beginning of this post, this was a very good month for my Vrijheid Fonds. I’ve reached a new milestone with my net worth of my Vrijheid Fonds. For more information (and congratulations) just read my blog post Milestone: Portfolio Value reaches € 125,000
Besides reaching a new milestone in my portfolio value, I also collected more than € 500 in a month in passive income for the third time this year. This is also a new record! Here is sitting a very happy and proud DGI!
Again this month I made a nice step in my journey.
Thanks for reading!
Cheers,
Pollie
Note:
Because all figures I give are in Euro’s. And because the exchange rates is not constant (duh…) my passive income changes per month (even if the dividend stays the same). For the record: I only post my passive income from dividend the month I received it on my brokers account. And it is after taxes.
