My month review of my Vrijheid Fonds for August 2019.

The month August was a great month for me personally. I spend some quality time with my family. We had 3 incredible weeks of holiday. And that’s why I didn’t post very often. But normal life has started again, so it is time to post a blogpost with my August review.

Okay lets see how much passive income I have received in August. The month is over and it is time to update myVrijheid Fonds once again. And of course to write a post about my favorite topic, dividends!  I hope this post inspires other people out there to start saving and investing as soon as they can.  The power you feel knowing that you are richer than you were yesterday and you didn’t have to work a minute for it, is a wonderful feeling.

The markets have kept on rising. So, some big smiles here JUnfortunately I didn’t receive any dividend increase this month. However I got a nice surprise from Royal Ahold Delhaize. They changed their dividend policy. As of 2019, Ahold Delhaize commits to semi-annual dividend payments. I like this dividend policy change because with the interim dividend I can buy more shares sooner, which will generate more dividends for me. With other words; my snowball will get momentum sooner. For more info, just read my blog post Royal Ahold Delhaize (AD.AS) changed its Dividend policy.

Dividend

Now let us take a look at the numbers, tell you the status of my Vrijheid Fonds and report my passive income in this month review. In total I received whooping €441.66 ($486.30) in passive income.

If we take a closer look, the dividend was coming from:

Ahold Delhaize (AD.AS) € 111.95
AbbVie (ABBV) € 27.19
AT&T (T) €61.02
Omega Healthcare Investments (OHI) €73.36
Procter & Gamble (PG) €21.88
Realty Income (O) €20.98
Mutual Fund €125.28

YoY Increase

All these dividends together make a total of €441.66; this is an 87.66% increase from last year’s August. And without the new dividend from Ahold Delhaize, I still have a YoY increase of almost 35%. It feels great when money is coming in that has worked for me!  My Dividend Factory is working for me!

Vrijheid Fonds

If we take a look at my Vrijheid Fonds (Freedom Fund), we can see that the value is again higher than last month. My total portfolio value at the end of August is €126,066 whichis an increase of 2.71% over last month (€122,740).

I again donated €600 of fresh capital to my Vrijheid Fonds and €112 in mutual-funds for my “Safe-haven-sleep-well” part of my Vrijheid Fonds.

In August I made one new buy. I’ve averaged down on one of my dividend aristocrats. I bought 4 shares of 3M. For more information, read my blog post Recent Buy 3M – August 2019.

Again this month I made a nice step in my journey. Thanks for reading!

Cheers,

Pollie

Note:

Because all figures I give are in Euro’s. And because the exchange rates is not constant (duh…) my passive income changes per month (even if the dividend stays the same). For the record: I only post my passive income from dividend the month I received it on my brokers account. And it is after taxes.
