May 2019 Dividend Income from the Dutch Dividend Series

I’m still a little behind in this Dutch Dividend Series, but I’m catching-up. So here is my post for the month of May.

With my website and this post, I hope to inspire more people to start making passive income. By starting to make passive income, you will take control of your live. And with the pension discussion in the Netherlands, it is even more important to take control over your finances. Passive income gives you the freedom of time! I think that time is our greatest asset. In fact, time is far more valuable than money in my opinion.

When you let your money work for you (instead of you working for money) you will have the flexibility that comes along with not having to struggle to make ends meet at the end of the month. As long as you can ensure that your passive income outpaces your monthly expenses, you’re free to spend your time as you choose.

Thanks for all the positive feedback I got on this series! I really appreciate it! And if I look at my twitter feed (@twitter.com/Polliesdividend) I see a lot of people enjoy this Series. Keep sending me some love. And also, if you want to be included in this Series.

Passive income from the Dutch Dividend bloggers

Here is my May episode of the dividend Income from the Dutch Dividend Series. I’ve only included the bloggers that reported their dividend income on their website.

Stashing Dutchman – €149.89 – Welcome back SD to our list. He had a great month in which 8 companies paid him dividends. In May SD had a YoY increase of almost 83%. Great!

Financially in 10 years – Mr. Robot hasn’t published its dividends for the month of May. Hopefully he will be back next month.

Financemonkey – Saska only publish her dividend income report after every quarter. So next month we’re expecting a new blog post of her.

Veelvoorminder – €12.57 – The dividend again exceeded the tens. A doubling compared to March. So, way to go! What a nice steady dividend streak he is showing us. Congrats!

I want Dividend – € 735.15 – In May Erik broke for the 3rd month in a row his dividend income record. Congrats! Unfortunately, Erik also told us that his record-breaking streak will be over now for this year. Based on his portfolio and the timing of dividend payments, Erik estimate he will have to wait till April 2020 to set a new record.

Groeigeld – €68 – The month of May is always a quiet dividend month for Mr Groeigeld. But with a YoY increase of 189%, who is complaining. Keep up the great work!

De Kleine Belegger – € 196.76 – The May month is always a nice month for DKB. Many European companies pay their annual dividend in the spring. Together with the American dividend payments, this creates a new dividend record for DKB. Never before has he received so much dividend in one month! In May DKB had a YoY increase of 56%. Great!

De Kleine Kapitalist – € 22.14 – Only 2 companies have paid dividends to DKK in May. Again a nice small step in DKK dividend journey. Keep pumping in fresh cash in your portfolio.

Financieelvrijer – € 61.58 – A great month Financieelvrijer! He almost doubled his dividend income.Way to go!

Dividendportfolio.nl – € 38.41 – Again a nice month for Dividendportfolio. For a starter of Dividend Growth Investor, he is doing a great job.

Dividendcompounder.nl – € 260.20 – May was certainly a good month for DC.Again a record high and the fourth month in 2019 above the $200 threshold. With a YoY of 90% DC delivered a realy good month. Congrats!

MrThinkingbig – €70 – Welcome MrThinkingbig to the Dutch Dividend list. Nice to have you on board. MrThinkingbig had a nice month. Way to go! Hopefully he will report its dividend income every month from now on (or he emails it to me 😉 )

Polliesdividend – € 312.26 – I had a great month in which I’ve added a new company to my Vrijheid Fonds. If we look at May 2018, I see a nice YoY increase of more than 30%. For more information about my passive income, just read my May report.

Finally

May has been a great month to us Dutch Dividend Bloggers. And normally May is a slow month, so I’m curious what the end of the second quarter will bring us. 11 Bloggers received and reported their dividend income in May. It is always fun and inspiring to read all your dividend income reports. We really rock! Let’s all keep up the good work, and hopefully we will break the € 2,000 barrier together next year.

We as Dutch Dividend Bloggers made a whooping € 1,932.17 in dividend! Amazing!

If you’re not included in the list above, just leave a comment below, and I will include you in the next post.

How was your month? Did you receive more passive income than last year? I like to hear from you!

Cheers,

Pollie
